Last month we had a great turn-out for the first Whitewater Movie Night at AquaSports Kayak Shop here in Redmond, WA. Thanks Gwendolyn for suggesting it and helping to organize. We’re looking forward to a second great night of kayaking film, food and friends tomorrow, Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 7 pm, so please join us.
Remember, we’ll be doing this throughout the dark evenings of fall and winter on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7 pm. Hope to see you there!

Come spend the afternoon this Sunday, July 11, 2010, on the Skykomish River with expert paddlers Dave Fusilli and Team Pyranha. Dave and his pals will be there to paddle the river, answer your questions, and show you how to perfect that kayaking skill you’ve been trying to master.
We’ll be meeting at noon in Index by the park for a run down to Split Rock:

Demo boats will also be available for you to try. You can call AquaSports at 425-869-7067 or just stop by the store before Sunday to request a specific boat. (This would be a great time to try out the new Molan playboat or the 2010 Burn.)

We’ll be serving refreshments starting around 6 pm on Sunday and showing Team Pyranha’s latest movie, Dashboard Empanada, at 7 pm.
(Even if you don’t make the paddle be sure to show up for movie night – there WILL be shwag giveaways for one and all!)

Kyle with his new Jackson Villain
The 2010 Jackson Villain whitewater kayaks have started to arrive at AquaSports Kayak Shop in Redmond. We got our first Villain S kayak in yesterday and Kyle Buck, who ordered an orange one last week and stopped by to check on his order, saw the new one we just got in and decided he had to have it because it was so cool-looking!

New Villains and Villain S’s are on order and will be arriving anytime. We’ll post pictures of the new boats as they arrive, and call or email us if you want to be the first to know.
